Not a bad Shira Cab for under $10. "Very average" another reviewer has said - but come on an average wine at under $10 is good value. I would buy again as a quaffer, but not one for a special occasion.Priced right for what it is.

What a great find. Lovely layered Shiraz. A spicy nose, with subte palate with a wonderful peppery, spice finish. I would recommend any Shiraz drinker to grab a bottle or two.

Yes, a great Sauvignon Blanc, I would agree it is probably a $20 wine so at this pric its a steal. Clear and crisp, "restrained yet flavoursome" sums it up. Actually my wife might sum it up beter, "thats a lovely wine, can I have more".

A nice relaxing time on Christmas day, and a great bottle to share. But what a surprise. It didn't strike me as a traditional Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, but was beautiful to drink together on this occasion. Subtle citris would describe it for me, but the "seamless structure" sums it up beautifully. Give it a go, you won't be disappointed.

A good Sauvignon for the price. I would say a "superb everyday quaffer", is about right. I found the whole experience good. A bit surprising, as it seemed to me to be sweeter than I would normally expect for Sauvignon Blanc. We had it with roast chicken and salads, and I felt it accompanied this well.

A nice soft smooth subtle merlot that is drinking well. I often find Merlot's to be a bit thin for my liking, this one isn't. I suspect it will improve with a bit more ageing. Worth a try, especially at tis price.

A nice Chardonnay at the price. Clean on the palate. Not the heavy Oaked Chardonnay's I remember from the 90's. Maybe a little too average for me, but did remind me why I used to enjoy Chardonnay. Worth trying at this price.

What a find. A superb Can Sav definitely worth the 90 points given by James Suckling - maybe worth one or two more in my book. This is balanced enough that a couple of friends who are happier with easy drinking whites, came back for seconds.

A great shiraz. Pleasant on the palate. Intriguing. A definite pepper bite to this, but well balanced by the other flavours coming through. Went well by itself, but also accompanied a nice hearty meal. This, on a cold winters night, in front of a big fire, with good food and great company - AH BLISS. I would say at this price, a must have.

Lovely drinking. Couldn't go wrong with this. Drinks well on its own,but also I would say enough guts to accompany almost anything you want to drink it with. A great wine to have in the cellar. However, again I must say at this price I can drink some pretty good wines that may make this look a little normal - but I would buy it again

Young, but definitely a Sauvignon blanc, with that characteristic grassy flavour. A drank it on its own, not chilled. I think a few months older, slightly chilled and with the right food, the experience would have been more enjoyable. Not sure if its worth the extra dollars, maybe the Waipipi would be better. (Or buy both and compare!)

An everyday quaffer, is how it is described. It is that. A reasonable shiraz but sure isn't outstanding, Hint of liquorice and pak. I think as an everday quaffer, to have witht a few mates for a BBQ, it wil pass. Not one for much else in my opinion, and probably considering that, a wee but over priced. A nice easy drinking wine. Summer fruits bouquet which follow through onto the palate. A hint of spice to finish. I didn't notice any oak which used to yell Chardonnay a few years back. Not a great wine, but very good for the price and I feel would be good to drink on its own or with a lot of milder dishes, chicken I feel would be good. We drank it with a bit of cheese and crackers mid afternoon, and it suited this well.

A nice, well rounded shiraz. Berries up front, with a hint of spice following, with the roundness to finish, that I think comes fromthe oak. Smooth, easy to drink. A nice crisp clean wine. Pinot Gris, which this is even though labelled Pinot Grigio, has a wide range of styles. I liken it more to the Italian style, so makes me wonder if this is a South Island wine. I think be nice with delicate nibbles, or on its own as a summer aperitif. Not outstanding but OK, esp at the price.

What a find. I found this a nice light peachy chardonnay, very clean on the palate, but the acid finish was a slightly too much for me. HOWEVER! that was the first glass having on its own as I prepared dinner - and not chilled. Subtle chilling, having with pre dinner nibbles it was great, but even better with dinner. My wife raved about it - and neither of us are big chardonnay drinkers. All that aside it's worth buying for the label and cap! Buy it even if you aren't particularly fond of chardonnay's, or French wine.

Not a bold shiraz I normally like to drink, but subtle and maybe young? I'll be interested to see how it drinks in another year or two. A good wine for the price but I suspect a great wine in a couple more years.

A definite for the cellar. Sweet bouquete, yes hints of summer fruits. Pleasant plum palates with a very clean finish. Not overpowering but bold enough to be fun. I had with a beef casserole and it did well, but when I had it on its own, ..., well shame I had no more.

A Savy as one would expect from NZ. Had some on its own, and then some with crackers and cheeses, held itself well in both settings. The ladies loved it.A slight hint of lemon bouquete, followed with a slightly tart hint of lemon. I liked it, as it got the thumbs up from my wife and her friend, I think I'll have to buy it again.

Nice. Peachy pallate, acidic, I feel was slightly too acidic. Is this because its a little young? I;m not sure. Nice to drink all the same however there are other Pinot Gris' I'd buy before this. For example, even with the extra dollar I think the Lammastide I have just reviewed is better value for money.

A complex wine. A great blend on the palette, subtle hints coming through. A hint of seafood, maybe a sweet ?licorice. Definitely smooth velvety. BUT a word of warning. My first glass from the first bottle - I was disappointed. However this was a bit too cool, and hadn't had a chance to breath. It improved. The second bottle at a good temperature, and open for a while showed what this should be like. A great complex wine, good value for money.

Beautiful golden colour and that unmistakable spicy aroma of the wonderful Gewurztraminers I remember from long ago. However, that's as far as the journey down memory lane went. I personally couldn't pick the berry taste I would have expected, but a lovely subtle vanilla aroma and taste. Nice after taste. Would be better accompanying the standard foods you'd associate with Chianti. So, for the price a good Chianti, worth have one or two in the cellar.
