This is wicked! This is actually a meal - you don't need food. But if you do it's great with red meat of course and easily good enough for the average dinner guest. How will you guys top this one? It really is amazing value for money.

Disappointing, given the pitch. Argentina should stick to Malbec and beef! Cheap Pinot Noir is always exactly that. If people haven't tried Pinot Noir - don't give them this first-up! This is not even as good as the thin tasteless stuff produced by some Gisborne, Hawkes Bay and Marlborough ventures (and don't give that to your first-time friends either!) Consequently and despite the price, this is not good value for money because it gives a false impression of what NZ'ers should expect and can get from the variety.

Review written for Tanunda Hill (Barossa) 2011 Shiraz (Product not available at this time)
Bought as a Xmas holiday quaffer but quickly put away for dinner choice. Really good value for money.

Only just ok when compared to other similarly priced examples and the "back of the bottle" notes and website promo. It certainly fills the mouth. Plenty of taste but not really (Barossa) earthy smooth and might even negate the "soft" description for some. My shiraz test is always done without food; this one might need to accompany meat for best result. I struggled to get the minty finish but ok for price.

Review written for Art Series: Belinda (Martinborough) Pinot Noir (Product not available at this time)
Ok, good value for price and certainly good enough for a Mon - Thurs drink with dinner but a bit disappointing overall as it lacked the usual earthiness of Martinborough pinots.
Review written for McGuigan The Family Tree (Australia) Cabernet Sauvignon (Product not available at this time)
This is good and gets better if you can leave it in the glass for a while. For its price it's an ideal "house" red; wouldn't quite put it on a par with the Evenwood Shiraz but it's great value and even better with red meat.

Immediately fruity but I found it got better as I got through the glass and it opened up a bit. Was looking forward to it the next night with dinner and was not disappointed. Not a "wow-what-is-this" but definitely worth the try.

Hi I didn't buy this wine so I can't do a "to-be-honest" type review. However, have purchased this brand Cab Sav over the years and it's really good value for money. Typical and distinctive Barossa quality; can't imagine this would be any different.
Review written for Benjamin (Argentina) Malbec (Product not available at this time)
This is cheap, cheerful and cherific. But it's not for the rose club - it's gutsy and great with red meat, especially venison. 09 is better than the last two vintages and good enough at this price to be the week-day house red at my place!
