Pinot Noir doesn’t have to be big in body and colour to make a statement. This has a translucent red colour that leads into a nose of bright red cherry fruit with a touch of forest floor and subtle mushroom earthiness adding nuance and complexity. Medium bodied this has red and dark cherry flavours with a savoury note on the finish. The tannins are sleek helping to give this a supple almost silky texture. Charming for its finesse this will drink well over the next year or two.

The 2014 Reserve Merlot is a barrel selection of finest Merlot and has 42% new oak in the blend. It has intense aromatics of black doris plum, fruits of the forest with hints of chocolate and cigar box. Fruit cake and dark chocolate flavours fill out the mouth while solid tannins from both the fruit and the oak provide a rich and bold structure to the wine.

A full bodied wine with a rich, oily texture that coats the palate with the variety’s distinct and heady flavours. The slight residual sugar adds to the wine’s weight and textural qualities.
The wine has an intensely perfumed nose, bursting with Turkish delight, cinnamon and nutmeg spice and rose petal aromas.

Deep dark crimson with a purple hue in colour with aromas of dark ripe berry aromas with pepper spice, a hint of fruitcake and sweet vanillin oak. The palate is a wonderful full bodied wine with lifted ripe plum and mulberry fruit, dashes of leather and vanillin oak lead to a lingering fruit and spice finish. This wine has the versatility to complement almost any dining situation.
