Winesale.co.nz? I'm used to buying my wine from Corporate Direct. Who the hell is Winesale.co.nz?
Winesale.co.nz has always been the website of Corporate Direct Wines. We are just emphasising the Winesale.co.nz name more now because we think it reflects more what we do. Corporate Direct is a good name too but we got tired of people asking us if we could drop a printer cartridge around with their wine.
Your prices are awesome but how do I know if the wines are any good?
All our wine is quality guaranteed. If you don't like any wine for any reason let us know and we will refund it or replace it until you are happy. Try getting that sort of guarantee from the manager down at your local Try'n'Save. Check out our Customer Commitment here.
If your wines are such good quality - how come you can sell them at such a good price?
Our unique distribution system is specifically designed so that we lose money at every step along the supply chain. One day someone smarter will take over and jack up the prices but until then this is the place to buy your wine! All joking aside (they said sobbing quietly) we know of three reasons why we can sell great wine at super low prices: 1) We don't have to rent any expensive buildings in order to sell you wine. 2) We don't keep a regular product range so we never have to buy at the wholesaler or importers "List" prices. We only buy a product when we get an unbelievably good deal on it. 3) Sometimes we are the wholesaler/importer in which case we just put our usual inadequate mark up on the wine and sell it direct to you - eliminating the wholesale guy all together.
What's the minimum order?
No minimum order at all. Except we don't sell by the glass - you gotta buy the whole bottle - we won't make an exception on this one.
How come there's no discount for case buys?
All our bottles are sold at the case price so you don't have to buy a whole bunch of wine you might not drink for ages just to save a buck a bottle. And unlike other websites you can mix and match until your liver's content.
I really enjoyed that bottle of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc I bought off you last week but you don't seem to have it this week. Are you hiding it?
No we're not hiding it. We just ran out. Because we do a lot of spot buying we often buy limited parcels of wine which can't be purchased again. Or maybe they can be purchased again but at full price. Unfortunately we never buy at full price because our customers hate paying full price. So our advice is if you see it buy it.
What's the deal with the Quick List?
The Quick List order forms are the web page version of our email newsletters which go out every week, twice a week. They contain the best specials we have going in each region. And with the Quick List forms you can guarantee that the stock that you order is in your local warehouse and ready to ship straight to your place. Nice and quick!
I saw some specials on the Quick List which aren't on the main website. Why not?
That's right. Sometimes we may only have stock of certain products in certain areas. So you may find some bargains in your region which aren't available to the rest of the country - suckers!
How long will the wine take to get to me?
Delivery varies by region but most orders will be with you in 2-3 business days. Some regions deliver next business day. The best way to ensure your wine gets to you as quick as possible is to order off the Quick List. To find out exact delivery times for your area you can contact your local representative on 0508 WINESALE. And remember no matter how long we take to deliver your wine we will never charge you for the extra bottle-age.
How much does delivery cost?
Delivery costs vary by region. If you are located in Mainland New Zealand, we provide free delivery for orders containing 36 bottles (3 cases) or more. Check out our delivery rates for your suburb here.
I'd like to get my wine delivered to me at home but I'm worried that the wine will get stolen if I'm not there.
Rough neighbourhood? Relax we have it covered in our Customer Commitment. If we deliver wine to your house when you're not home and it goes missing - we'll ship you replacement wine free of charge. Or we can deliver to your workplace as well - if that suits better.
What payments do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Direct Credit into our bank account. Very occasionally we may accept cash or cheque on delivery but you will need to talk to your local representative about this. If you're a business we can set up a credit account with you as well.
Are the details I provide to you on this website secure?
Do I have to order using your website?
No. You can order over the phone on 0508 946 372 or you can simply reply to our weekly emails with your order. Or you can fax or send an email to your local representative or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Carrier pigeons can be sent to 55 Parkside Road, Lower Hutt. Please note we no longer let the pigeons pick up the wine after that business last year with the SPCA and the 60 Minutes film crew.
I ordered my wine online from you but when the invoice arrived it was from someone else - what gives?
Winesale.co.nz is a franchised or licensed business. That means you are almost always dealing with a local business in your area. It means profits stay in your area and more importantly most times you'll be dealing directly with the person that owns the business. And it's always nicer doing business with people you know - especially when you're getting one over on them like this!

I'm having trouble using some of the features on this website . What should I do?
This website is designed to be best viewed in 1024 x 768 resolution. If you are trying to view this website in a lower resolution; it's posible that you will have to scroll horizontally as well as vertically for most of the pages. To avoid doing this, we would recommend increasing your computer's resultion to 1024 x 768. To do this, right click on an empty area in your desktop and click on "Properties". Then, click on the "Settings" tab and you will see an option to adjust your screen resolution. Please note that not all computers will support higher resolutions and you will only be able to increase the resolution on your computer if your computer supports it.
