Celebrating 25 years of Gewurztraminer, this is a big rich blockbuster of a wine. The bouquet is a wonderful mix of spices, lychees, rose petals and ginger with a hint of musk. The mid palate is full of sweet fruit with gingery edges. A spicy gingery finish with lingering flavours
Fruit sourced from a single site in the Upper Moutere, made by Neil Todd, winemaker at Kahurangi. Bright straw-yellow colour with a pale green-golden hue, this has a soft and finely expressed bouquet, quite delicate and ethereal, showing exotic floral notess of rose petals, spices and ginger. Medium dry to taste and showing good weight and vinous presence with 13.5% alc., the palate has a delicacy of style and expression, the fruit beautiful, but shy.
A sublimely ethereal infusion of musk, lily, earthen spices and lemon aromatics parade before the nose. A precise and assured palate tickles with its freshness and seduces the senses with its playful amour.
