Trophy and Gold Medal - International Wine Challenge United Kingdom (2012 Vintage)
90 Points - Stephen Tanzer
89 Points - Robert Parker, The Wine Advocate (2011 Vintage)
From the Michel Torino stable. When a wine wins Trophy and Gold at the International Wine Challenge in the UK you know it is serious wine. Torrontes is the white wine of Argentina and this is a sublime example of the variety. Colour is Intense and bright yellow with gold edges It has delicate aromas with flower presence, mainly roses, are the most important. Orange notes blend together with toasted bread due to the touch of oak. The taste is pure finess and elegance with a hint of the exotic. Good acidity with the freshness of citrus.
This wine matches well with Asian food of course but also try it with smoked meats and seafood it is a wonderfully versatile wine. This is truly a wine for wine lovers.
