Craggy Range (Martinborough) 2014 Te Muna Pinot Noir 2014
(1 Customer Reviews)
1 out of 1 customers rated this wine as good value for money.

Bright red cherry colour with a crimson hue. Seductive aromas of dark cherry, dried rose petals, thyme and damp earth. Beautifully varietal, elegant and long on the palate. Medium weight red fruit richness and fine-grained tannins are drawn out long across the palate by acidity to create a finish which is savoury and dry.

Even the Aussies can not buy this superb wine at this price!
Named after Patricia Brown, the Patricia range is a combination of the best that we can do in viticulture and winemaking, and it is very special to the company and the Brown family. The wines must pass our strict selection criteria to be released, which is why we donít release every vintage. The Patricia wines see the best oak and minimal handling to ensure all the flavour is retained in the bottle. This is a rich and powerful wine with fruit, spice and liquorice characters.

5 Stars†- Raymond Chan "Full, deep, near impenetrable black-red colour. This has a full, broad and voluminous bouquet with†deeply packed aromas of blackberries entwined with blackcurrants and black plums, unfolding dark†herbs and spice notes, along with black minerals, black ink and cedary oak. Medium-full bodied,†the palate has mouthfilling flavours of ripe, blackberry and plum fruit along with notes of herbs†with menthol nuances, unfolding mineral and ink elements. The palate possesses an abundance of†tannin extraction and structure supporting the fruit,, the wine showing plenty of presence. The†acidity is soft, and the wine flows to a textured, firm finish with blackberries, plums, spices and†cedar. This is a broad and fulsome Malbec/Merlot blend with ripe blackberry and plum flavours†along with mineral and ink on a structured palate." Raymond Chan

Layered aromas of cassis, berry, coffee and mocha come with regional Cafayate green notes. The palate is lively and offers ribald acidity along with red plum, berry, vanilla, spice and toast flavors. Turns more oaky the longer it's open, with vanilla and dill on the finish.

Gold Medal - Berlin Wine Trophy
An expression of invidivuals regiosn within the greater Barossa area. Greenock sits on the north western outskirts of Nuriootpa, in the heart of the Barossa Valley.
The dark, brooding regional characters of plum, red cherry and liquorice are all to the fore of this wine. The palate is focused and linear, with dark bitter chocolate notes and an elegant long persistent finish. We recommend cellaring for 10 years.

Incredible Grand Cru champagne that punches well above its weight. The R.012 from Lallier is yellow gold in colour. Round, with a pleasant finish. Buttery brioche notes and a hint of apricot fruitiness. Balanced with a vivacious fresheness. You will be seduced by the elegance of this†R.012††with minimal dossage.
