41 out of 42 customers rated this wine as good value for money.

Founded in 1909 by Eugene Charmat, the inventor of the 'second fermentation in tank' process, the company which produces Pol Clement is dedicated to high quality wines. The flavor profile reveals apple, pear and a yeasty undertone all the way to the bold and refreshing lemon-crisp finish. It offers the characteristic food versatility that many are looking for in a sparkling wine or simply as an appetizing aperitif."
Crisp and refreshing - this delightful light - medium bodied sparkler is sure to please- and best of all is a fabulous price for such quality.

Paul Henry's Pick as reviewed by Yvonne Lorkin and Paul Henry on the Paul Henry Show 6th October 2015
Pale salmon-pink colour.  The nose is soft and clean with gently filling and delicate aromas of yellow stonefruits and red berries, revealing herbal elements.  Dryish to taste, light red fruits, currants and herbal flavours are supported by soft, creamy textures. The flavours fade, and lead to a light finish.  This is a clean, fresh and gentle cremant rose.

Cremant is experiencing a huge upswing in popularity at the moment and it is easy to see why with this fantastic and affordable Cremant de Loire. For those that prefer the traditional look and fine taste, this superb French bubbly will certainly impress. The Loire Valley is one of only seven regions in France able to make this dry style Methode Traditionelle.
Bright and clear with pale or straw yellow color On the nose: Peach, pear, mint, almond. Fine bubbles with fresh, dry, bright fruit flavors and crisp acidity. Excellent value for money Methode Traditionelle from France that delivers quality without the hefty price tag!

Clearview (Hawkes Bay) 2017 Whitecaps Chardonnay
Clearview (Hawkes Bay) 2017 Whitecaps Chardonnay

Wow! lovers of old school chardonnay rejoice! Big bold rich and buttery at a reasonable price is back on the menu!
Hand picked then whole bunch pressed. The juice was lightly settled at ambient temperatures. Long, cool fermentation ensued and the resulting wine shows classic pear and butter- scotch characters. Full malo-lactic fermentation underpinning a full blown oak experience of vanilla and toast drive the wine back to the Chardonna y’s of old.

17.5/20 Raymond Chan
"Full, near-saturated black-red colour with youthful purple hues. This has an elegantly concentrated and rich nose of ripe blackberry and plum fruit entwined with notes of liquorice and cedary, toasty oak, along with hints of oak resin, eucalypt and chocolate. Medium-full bodied, the fruit flavours are a little restrained, but unfold to show sweet, ripe plum and liquorice notes. Blackberry, earth, cedary oak and eucalypt layers add detail. The mouthfeel is plush and juicy, and balanced by supple tannin extraction lending structure, presence and weight. The wine flows with underlying alcohol power, carrying to a fresh, sustained finish with liquorice and cedar notes. This is a weighty, ripe, supple Shiraz with restrained plum, liquorice and cedary flavours. Match with barbecued and roasted red meats and casseroles over the next 5+ years." Raymond Chan

Evenwood Barossa Shiraz has been our number one selling red wine for the last 7 years. The 2015 is a new vintage and is tasting better than ever. In the glass the wine has deep red and garnet hues. This follows through to a generous nose of spice, mulberry preserve, dark chocolate, mocca and vanilla tones. Complexity builds as the wine opens further with hints of earthy beetroot and tea rose. The savoury palate shows blood plums with sweet spice leading onto soft tannins.

This is a classic Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc which is consistently produced in a fuller, riper, softer style that develops well. Clean, fresh and tropical, with fruit from several vineyards situated throughout Marlborough.
Typically pungent with grapefruit, latana and blackcurrant.  The palate is well balanced, sweet-fruited and juicey with tropical fruits and blackcurrant.

4 Stars - Raymond Chan
Silver Medal - International Wine Challenge 2018
The sweet, lifted aroma of proving bread appeals on the nose along with pleasant notes of white stone fruit, with spice and citrus adding to this sensory delight. Sweet Danish pastry and spicy pear tart emerge out of the succulent and sweetly fruited palate. Generous mineral flavours compliment the rich and full weight. Ginger and lemon zest add a pleasing zing to the finish

Pinot Noir doesn’t have to be big in body and colour to make a statement. This has a translucent red colour that leads into a nose of bright red cherry fruit with a touch of forest floor and subtle mushroom earthiness adding nuance and complexity. Medium bodied this has red and dark cherry flavours with a savoury note on the finish. The tannins are sleek helping to give this a supple almost silky texture. Charming for its finesse this will drink well over the next year or two.

One of New Zealand's favourite wine brands and as reliable as the rising sun! Great wine at a great price, why try and find this cheaper when you can get it delivered to your door!
It is beautifully fruited and lifted on the nose displaying poached pear, rockmelon, mandarin and floral characters. The palate is succulent and rounded with pristine fruit flavours and smooth texture, leading to a lengthy, juicy finish. A lovely crowd-pleasing pinot gris.

Fantastic Nelson Sauvignon Blanc every bit as good as it's rivals from over the hill. Juicy and  fruity with lovely structured acid on the finish. This is the wine deal that the Winesale staff are all taking home this weekend. We love this wine and you will too!

Each of the Coleccion range are sourced from entirely estate owned vineyards throughout the Cafayate Valley. Vineyards sit at elevations well above 3,000 feet with many sitting above 5,000 feet. The power of the sun at these elevations combined with very little moisture or pests leads to wines of unique purity and concentration.

The 2016 Cabernet has blackberry, pepper and paprika aromas, with nut and toasty oak notes. In the mouth, there are red pepper, raspberry and blackcurrant flavors, with vanilla and tobacco notes from oak aging on the long finish.

We know what your saying "Why would I buy imported new world Pinot Noir when we already have the best Pinot Noir right on our doorstep?"

Well we could answer by saying Michel Torino have been growing grapes in the Cafayate Valley in Argentina since 1892. We could also say that Cafayate Valley is 1700 metres up in the Andes and has an incredible climate where the temperature variaton between day and night is as high as 22 degrees celsius. Ideal conditions for producing wines with intense varietal flavours. Or... we could just say nothing and make you stump up with the cash to find out for yourself why our tasting panel just couldn't say no to this wine.

Four Stars "A concentrated, cuddly red that represents great value for money" Warren Barton

Simply beautiful red wine from Argentina. We have scored a major coup securing this premium wine at an unbelievable price point.  Malbec is one of the traditional "Bordeaux varietals", having characteristics that fall between Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Michel Torino (pronounced Me-shell Torino) Malbec is a fantastic example of the variety. Spend just $13.99 on this wine and you will learn why the world is raving about Argentine Malbec.

Four Stars  "Great value at this price" Joelle Thomson
Shiraz, Shiraz, Shiraz - why do we love you so much? Power, intensity, blackberry and pepper, chocolate and espresso, licorice and aniseed, juiciness and warmth. You're the all round great red wine and we can't get enough of you.

This dark, handsome Argentine Michel Torino (pronounced Me-shell Torino) is grown high up in the Andes which contributes to its intense brooding complexity. Take this wine out for a night of excitement for just $13.99.
