This is a bold and hearty Pinot Noir from a warm “ripe” vintage in the Wairarapa.  More in the style of a French burgundy; this wine has powerful aromas and savoury flavours that will go well with a rich stew or cassoulette. This will get better in the bottle and at this price is a real steal. A solid, tasty, bigger style Pinot Noir.
