A budget Hawkes Bay chardonnay that punches well above its weight. When it comes to $11.99 chardonnay, most do not deliver. This wine will appeal to the most demanding chardonnay lover. Unoaked!

This Chardonnay is sourced from the Ngatarawa triangle in Hawke's Bay. It is a rich style of Chardonnay with the accent on strong fruit flavours. Ripe melon, nectarine and summer peach aromas abound with toasty oak hints of cedar and spice and a long, full, yet soft finish.

Lovely fruit driven chardonnay. Very good with food, but unlike many of this grape, stands up nicely on its own.

California was not taken seriously in the wineworld until in the 1970s. It was then that the Chardonnay from the US won several international and French awards. It was the US that made it possible for other new world wine producers to break in to markets previously impossible. New Zealand owes a lot to the American Chardonnay producers.
