A Gimblett Road single vineyard wine, 70% aged in French barriques. Bright, scarlet in colour, this has a full, deep bouquet of minerals, black fruit,red beries, licorice and earthy notes. Dry and full-bodied at 13.5% alc., this has bold, open leathery and cigar like flavours black berry with nutty, and oaky nuances. A fruit expressive wine, this is a solid and robust Merlot that has length of flavour.

Merlot has gotten a bad rap as of late but there is no denying the wine's appeal. Packed with deep, dark berry fruit and nuanced hints of cocoa, herb and earth with a soft structure.
