For those who suffer from preservative allergies in wine, here is the perfect answer without having to sacrifice quality. This beautiful 100% organic, preservative free wine is a supreme example of skilled winemaking. Rich with plums, cherries and blackberries this wine offers a full gentle palate of great length and complexity. It is dominantly fruit driven with an essence of spice and dashes of cinnamon, chocolate and vanilla. The wine has a strong finish of toasty mocha coffee.

This was a disappointment as it tasted bitter even after being poured through my wine aerater. I(t would be too expensive at 9.99.

I feel like I need to start off with a confession. When I see "organic" or "preservative free" on a wine label, I usually figure it's a gimmick to market below-average wines. Well, at least in this case, I'm definitely wrong. The mixed aromas of blackberry, cedar, vanilla, a bit of mint and pepper poured out of the glass before I had a chance to swirl. Yes, there's tons of fruit to this Shiraz, as you expect from Australia. But there's so much more - tons of cedar and spice, good tannic structure, super long finish. What a wine! I think this could age nicely over the next couple years as well, but is immensely enjoyable now. Those of you who can't deal with sulfur in your wines - rejoice! PS - this is the only wine I've found that worked well with my chile colorado!

Hi I had a previous vintage of this wine and it was great, unfortunately this is not in the same class it is a fair wine for a fair price but I look forward to another Vintage,.

Poor choice, would not recommend. I tried 4 organic wines from winesale, this one was a disappointment.

Underwhelming with an average tasting finish. Bought for partner who's become allergic to wine both red and white. Was hoping that a preservative free wine would be ok. It wasn't ok - neither allergywise nor tastewise.

- Sam Kim Wine Orbit
Our famous 5 Star Central Otago Pinot Noir. This quality of Pinot Noir at this price has been unheard until now. Bramble, spice, doris plum and rich ripe red fruit aromatics. A delicious fruit driven style having a rounded palate of cherry flavours with a hint of chocolate and spice. Followed by a mineral, elegant palate showing great density, tension and persistence. Ideal on its own or matched with lamb or strong flavoured fish.

El Esteco (Argentina) 2013 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon
El Esteco (Argentina) 2013 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon

5 Stars - Raymond Chan "Dark, deep, black-hued ruby-red colour, a little lighter on the rim. The nose is elegantly presented and well-proportioned with deep and concentrated aromas of ripe blackcurrant fruit with cassis liqueur notes, herbs, savoury green olives, and refined, pencilly oak. Full-bodied, the palate features sweetly ripe and well-concentrated flavours of blackcurrants and cassis along with subtle herb notes, nuances of savoury olives and pencilly oak. The mouthfeel is fresh, firm and vibrant with good fine-grained tannin structure and lively, lacy acidity. The flavours flow with drive and energy, leading to a sustained, elegant finish of blackcurrants and herbs. This is an elegantly proportioned and well-concentrated, classical Cabernet Sauvignon with blackcurrant and cassis fruit along with herbs, olives and pencilly oak of a fine, but firm-textured, driven palate" Raymond Chan

Sensational new arrival from Bodegas El Esteco. Winesale.co.nz is proud to be the exclusive retailer of this fine wine. Ruby red, profound and clean. Tears formed in glass indicate a very good structure and concentration. Spicy notes where black and red peppers outstand. Persistent and elegant. True exponent of a Cabernet Sauvginon from the Calchaqui Valley. Ripe and round tannins fulfill the mouth. Black fruit and chocolate notes prevail where the oak is gently integrated with the fruit. Long and elegant persistence.
