New 2017 vintage - sublime!
The number one selling white wine at Winesale.co.nz.
The most repeat purchased wine of any wine at Winesale.co.nz (over 3,000 repeat purchases).
Four Star customer rating from over 100 customer reviews.

It 's an understatement to say our customers love this wine! And why not - the wine is vibrant and juicy with excellent ripe varietal tastes and crisp refreshing acidity on the finish. Five Oaks produce single vineyard wines from one of the choicest locations in the upper Moutere region. This is a sensational Sauvignon Blanc that will foot it with Marlborough Savy's at twice the price. Just ask our customers!

For a Sauvignon not from Marlborough this is a great treat! Watch out Marlborough, Nelson is stepping up to the mark with his outstanding flavourful mouth watering Sauvignon!

As the label says - juicy, fruit-driven style, I say it's gold medal standard. Not a typical Marlborough savy, but of course it's Nelson(how the bureacrats combined them into one region I'll never understand). Will buy again - B.

A great sav that hit on all elements; tangy, crisp, flavourful and most importantly delicious. A delight.

This wine is an excellent value for money, because it taste like a million dollars! but yet is economic. Great for a sunday lunch occasion, this is a wine for the fresh and fruity kind of wine lovers. Trust in Sunny Nelson..he knows what he's doing!

Not bad as a drink by itself but i like it better with chicken or a good firm fish. Slight hint of gooseberry and capsicum, and a nice lingering finish that pushes my buttons right now. At $10, really good value. Tastes more expensive.

My preference has always been Marlborough Sav's over any others however having sampled this particular Nelson vintage I'm slowly changing my mind that there are now some great Sav's outside Marlborough. This 2009 vintage is very ready to drink now and won't get any better, it's still very crisp and matches well with some nice Thai cuisine or just on the deck in the sunshine, especially if you're thirsty. Very good value at under ten bucks.

An expert on wines I am not and only now and then will treat ourselves to a wine over $20. I was captured by the bouquet (can use the right word here and there) which held lots of promise. No disappointment. It does not knock some of the best off the pedestal but when you take into account the buy price offered $10, I erred to 5 stars. So yes back for more!

If you enjoy a Sav., don't let the price fool you - definitely worth a try. More bang for your buck than a can of petrol and a box of fireworks.

Nelson savvies are always a delight. All the complexities of a sauvignon, but with a refinement not always found. A pleasure to drink

A great wine to open for a relaxing Friday night or to serve at dinner with friends. Always a consistent clean taste, mildly tangy citrus flavour. Very good value for the price.

1 out of 1 customers rated this wine as good value for money.

"This is bright, vibrant and fragrant on the nose showing green rockmelon, fresh pear, apple and floral characters with a hint of spicy notes. The palate delivers youthful fruit intensity and fine texture, backed by juicy acidity. It is immediately appealing with its pristine fruit flavours and lively mouthfeel. At its best: now to 2019" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Jan 2018

The Crossings Pinot Gris 2017 shows concentrated notes of ripe pear and honeysuckle, with underlying spicy flavours. The palate is luscious and generous showing wonderful balance between fruit and acidity with a long dry finish.

Conviviale (Italy) 2017 Pinot Grigio
A crisp and lively dry white, lightly aromatic with characters of peach, baked appleand citrus fruits on the nose. Medium bodied with fresh lemony fruit and underlying hints of nuts, straw and a gently honeyed finish.
Food Recommendations: Serve as an aperitif or with seafood and fish dishes, salads and cold meats. It also has enough richness to accompany roast poultry and poached salmon.
