We compared the 2 Chenins from South Africa. This one is pale yellow-green (a bit more colour than the African Sun) and had honey and toasted nuts on the nose but not much else. Tasting shows honey, apples, lime. It's pretty light, short finish, and not overly acidic (off dry). Would do okay with a relatively light cheese board; much more would overwhelm this one. Would also serve well as a pre-meal sipper. This Chenin was a bit fuller than the African Sun, but neither is a great example the varietal's potential. Quaffable, but not really remarkable.
