All of us sampling this wine would call it "Gewurtztraminer Light". While it expresses all the standard characteristics of Gewurtz (lychee and tropical fruit on the nose and taste, lovely gold color) with hints of lime/citrus, we felt it tasted thin overall. This wine is well balanced with a long finish; a well-constructed example of Gewurtz but lacking the full-on punch of some of the other wines available. An EXCELLENT wine for introducing a newbie to Gewurtz, but if you're already a fan spend a bit extra and go for the Beach House (or a bit more extra and dive into the 2009 West Brook while it lasts!)
