OK this isn't exactly a review because I didn't try this myself, but I thought I'd share what I DID do with it. I recently bought an antique book for my Dad, who BTW is the world's hardest person to buy a gift for. I imagine he will never read the book but it will look marvelous on an old oak desk he has. In between buying the book and giving the gift, I happened to be trolling the Winesale website and I found this port. What better gift to give with a book than a port that goes by the name of Bookmark? Yesterday I was at his house and I asked if I could try the port but they'd already drunk it all. So, the book probably didn't get read but the port got drunk and all in all a pretty inspired gift. Make your next book gift awesome and add a bottle of this!!

I have drunk this port many times over the years and always enjoyed it. Not the most sophisticated port you will find but certainly unbeatable at this price!

I'm new to Port, but found this one sweet with a distinctly raisin-y flavour (I know that may sound uninspired, but it's accurate), with a bit of earthyness, like raw mushrooms. Pleasant enough, especially for the price.
