This is a sweet wine (lighter than some of the other Moscato's). I have been drinking this wine from Long Flat for a little over 2 years now. I have fallen for their new Pink Moscato now however if it is unavailable where ever I travel, I always go back to this one.

Muscat is a wine I drink only rarely - typically the power of the flavour (think concentrated Riesling) is best enjoyed sparingly. What I really look forward to with Muscat is immersing myself in the aroma. So, I was a bit disappointed with this one because the nose is, well, elusive compared to other Muscats I've had. This is a much lighter version, and once I got over the lack of gorgeous aroma (don't get me wrong - it has some, just not what I expected) and started getting into the wine, it began to win me over. Light bodied, a bit of spritz, and on the sweeter side (as Muscat is) - this is the perfect wine to take on a picnic with friends who tell you "I don't like wine". They'll like this. It's like drinking soda pop. Easy and refreshing. Serve chilled, as an aperitif.

This wine is the best for pre dinner sitting on the boat as the evening meal is being prepared. A wonderful aperitif

My wife is adventuress with wines but drinks them like a hen drinking water but she said this is very nice. Based on this it must be good.
