Richard Holdaway Big wine with a sharp lingering finish. Would suit a meaty BBQ type meal. Not as nice as the Shiraz from the same producer but hard to fault at 11 bucks. Permalink

K8y (Lower Hutt) Classic Aussie BBQ wine - easy drinking and screaming out for a steak to go with.
I'm pretty keen on this one for cooking with too - the rule is that you shouldn't cook with anything you wouldn't drink but no-one wants to chuck a thirty dollar wine in a pot. This wine will add an excellent depth of flavour to something like a bologneise, either in the pot or on the table. Maybe both... Permalink

Libby Sinden I was increibly impressed with this wine for this price. Was not expecting it to be so good. Great deep colour - fabulous for drinking by the fire. Definitely a wine to match with a meal - bit hard going on its own. Would buy again. Permalink

David Hill In the old days this wine took a long time to drink and left you feeling flat. Now, either I've mellowed in my old age or they have worked miracles. Not a real classy wine of course, but real easy drinking and d*** good value for money. Email me when you put it on special again PLEASE. Permalink
