Chablis is the epitome of French Chardonnay, fromthe famed Burgundy region. This Petit (baby) Chablis comes from the Michaut family estate from the region of the same name.

The Adrien Michaut estate benefits from having sites on Chablis' two classic soil types - Kimmeridgian and Portlandien. This is key to the Chablis' s mineral style.

The estate uses only very small yields, giving the wine the concentration and precision. A small proportion of the wine spends a short period in oak barrels and, while this doesn't dominate the flavour, it adds richness and complexity to the fresh citrus aromatics.

A lovely pale, almost straw-yellow color with hints of gold. On the nose, it has aromas of ripe fruits and sweet spices with a hint of vanilla, as well as zestier orange peel notes. On the palate, this is a dry yet fruity white wine with a round mouthfeel and nice minerality in the finish.

Another affordable classic, thoroughly worth the money! Highly reccommended
