80–89 – Very good - Guia Penn, Spains Comprehensive Wine Guide
"Deep cherry. Nose: ripe fruit, dried herbs, roasted coffee. Palate: powerful, ripe fruit, spicy."

87 Points - Wine Spectator

The Agnus Reserva Rioja is made using grapes from the oldest vineyards, vineyards that are more than 70 years old. Harvested by hand during the second week of October. Collected in special boxes, each one weighing 20 kilos. Pre-fermentation maceration at low temperature and spontaneous alcoholic fermentation. Malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels. Aged for 24 months in oak. 95% Tempranillo, 5% Graciano.

Nose; High aromatic intensity, with prevailing notes of mint, plum and chocolate.

Palate; Elegant, round, with fine tannins. Subtle and rich mouth-feel. Long, complex aftertaste denoting the perfect balance of good ageing.

Combines excellently with richer meats, stews and vegetable dishes.

Fantastic!
