4 Stars & 90 Points - Candice Chow, Raymond Chan Wine Reviews, CandiceWineChat (2021 vintage)
"Deep, ruby-red with a black hue, lighter on edge. The nose is generous and lifted with blackcurrant, vine leaf, tobacco and spice aromas. Medium-bodied, aromas of blackcurrant melded with red berry, vine leaf, unfolding tobacco and an amalgam of spice. The mouthfeel is smooth with a fine tannin structure, and the spice leaves a warm finish. This Carmenere is complex with fresh acidity, tobacco and spice details on a soft palate. Match with flank steak and braised beef cheek over the next 5 years. 13.5% alc. Dec 2022"

New vintage just arrived

The Luis Felipe Edwards Reserva wines are made from carefully selected grapes to produce aromatic wines, rich in fruit, with a pleasing mouth structure. Notes of fresh fruit are balanced with smoky and vanilla aromas from oak ageing, creating wines that are complex with an excellent structure in the mouth, suitable for a wide variety of pairings.

This wine presents an intense ruby red color with clean and deep hues of violet. On the nose are aromas of spices and dried figs, harmonized with those of coffee, dark chocolate and vanilla. Also, a soft touch of black pepper. On the palate it is complex, with a fresh acidity, high persistence with soft and round tannins. Carmenere is well known to be Chiles national variety. Originally a Bordeaux varietal now flourishes here. Producing Medium weight wines showing Plummy red fruit flavours and gentle tannins. Loved the world over
