Our tasting panel is in awe of the "Ananto" range of wines from Bodegas Sierra Norte. Another brand new direct import.

A project in Utiel-Requena, (west Valencia) Ananto is a new range of wines involving old vineyards and old farming practices. The vineyard sites sit at higher elevations (1,000 meters), are dry-farmed, with vines aged in the 35-45. Also farmed organically. Despite all that, the wines are ridiculously affordable.

This rosé is made using the traditional saignée method after the must has macerated with the skins. A temperature-controlled fermentation is then done, bringing out the full potential of this grape variety. Made with the Spanish indegenous, Bobal grape variety.

Clean, brilliant raspberry colour. Fruity and intense on the nose with well-defined varietal aromas. Fresh on the palate with pleasant flavours. Very well-structured.

Excellent with pasta dishes, fish, seafood or white meats.

Organic and Vegan friendly.
