92 Points - Cameron Douglas
"An engaging bouquet with enticing aromas of soil then fruit, flowers then oak, vanilla then salt. On the palate - a satin texture changes to a light-weight creamy texture then flavours of stone-fruit and baked apple, nut and toasty wood spice. Balanced and well made with a lengthy, complex and creamy finish. Best drinking from today and through 2022+Very Good." Cameron Douglas

Sam Kim - Wine Orbit Oct 2020
"Attractively fruited and beautifully ripe, the bouquet shows golden peach, baked apple, vanilla and roasted nut characters. It's beautifully supple and smooth on the palate with creamy mouthfeel and gentle acidity, finishing silky and lingering. At its best: now to 2022." Sam Kim

The grapes that produced this rich and full bodied chardonnay are grown on 20 year old Mendoza clone vines in the warm, dry Waipara Valley. This wine was fermented and matured for 9 months in seasonal French Oak barrels. With full malo-lactic fermentation, it shows a complexity and fullness of flavour typical of the Chardonnay from this Waipara vineyard.

The intensity and richness of flavours in this wine make it a perfect partner to scallops, crayfish, and a huge variety of chicken dishes.
