Nectarine, apricot and brioche aromas are apparent on the nose while the palate is awash with fresh, juicy pineapple and citrus notes. This wine is underpinned by a fine textured minerality and rounded out by a touch of butterscotch coming from the malo-lactic fermentation. Thoughtful use of fine French oak binds these flavours together creating complexity and harmony in this fine example of Hawke’s Bay Chardonnay.

A stunning track record, in the top 10 in Cuisine 2000 and 2002, with the 2007 vintage winning three golds and selling out very quickly.
This wine is a consistent performer selling out every year since it was first made in 1998

This wine needs to be lightly chilled to enjoy.  The flavours changed through out the drinking time.  From subtle flavours to in your face ones. An interesting wine.
