5 Stars and 93 Points, Wine Orbit
"Beautifully fruited and inviting, the wine shows golden peach, grapefruit, vanilla and roasted cashew characters. The palate delivers excellent weight and intensity together with silky texture and a lingering finish. Flavoursome and highly enjoyable. At its best: now to 2022"

Nectarine, apricot and brioche aromas are apparent on the nose while the palate is awash with fresh, juicy pineapple and citrus notes. This wine is underpinned by a fine textured minerality and rounded out by a touch of butterscotch coming from the malo-lactic fermentation. Thoughtful use of fine French oak binds these flavours together creating complexity and harmony in this fine example of Hawke’s Bay Chardonnay.
