91 points Premium Cameron Douglas (2020 vintage)
"Bright, fresh, fruity and varietal with aromas of green and brown pears, white spice and a soft lees autolysis - bringing depth and intrigue. On the palate - just dry with medium weight and a satin texture. Flavours mirror the nose with a nice squeeze mid and back palate - contrasted by the core of fruit, lees and gently warming alcohol. Balanced, even finish. Drink upon purchase and through 2022."

Pinot Gris grapes come from a small and strategically selected vineyard site in the heart of the Wairau Valley, Marlborough. The grapes were harvested in optimal conditions in early April after an ideal growing season that was characterised by warm temperatures and very little rain. Individual batches were gently pressed, ambiently settled, racked and cool fermented in stainless steel tanks - and a small proportion of French oak barriques

Borough wines are made as a project between some of Marlboroughs big names, Wineworks Marlborough, and others in the industry. Produced in support of the Graeme Dingle Foundation and thier fantastic youth programmes, such as the Kiwi Can Programme.

Superb example of a vibrant, off-dry Pinot Gris. Creamy and delectable, with nectarine and pear to the fore, this is sure to be a crowd pleaser.

Great wine and a Great cause, Great buying surely!!
