Beaujolais is the most southern wine growing region in Burgundy, though it is substantially different from rest of Burgundy, both in climate and in the wine it produces, it is often thought of as its own appellation. Beaujolais produces light, dry red wines made from Gamay grapes. 

Seductive and well-balanced with delectably soft tannins.   Beneath its intense deep garnet hue, this wine offers an elegant and expressive nose with intense and slightly jammy red fruit aromas.  The wine is supple and well-balanced on entry to the palate, with smooth, melted tannins which give it a very attractive and succulent character.
