90 points, Gold medal  Luca Maroni Italian wine critic

Winery holds over 60 gold medals since 2001

This is a super impressive and highly awarded wine at this price point. Nero'd Avola is Sicily's own grape, is so likeable, multi faceted flavour, concentrated and gently layered tannin structure. No its not similar to anything in New Zealand, but why would it want to change!

Full-bodied, voluminous body with earthy-wood notes and slightly burnt, jam like undertones strawberries and plum compote.

A supple, round tannin structure. Tannins, fruit and acid are balanced perfectly. A velvety, fruity and multi-layered drinking pleasure.

Try this wine with hearty, gamey and full flavourved dishes.
