“Medium deep colour. Sage herb blackberry, aniseed aromas with savoury notes. Well concentrated slightly sweet fruited/ sweet, fine supple chalky textures and underlying savoury notes. Finishes long and flavourful. Attractive wine to drink. 91+ points.” Andrew Caillard MW

2014 was an absolutly stunning vintage in the Hawkes Bay and this wine clearly shows why the Gimblett Gravels is NZ's premiere Syrah growing terroir. A rich and full-bodied Syah full of dark fruit flavours with lashings of black pepper and a long savoury finish. This wine has racked up plenty of Gold Medals and Five Star ratings - quite simply one of the best examples of NZ Syrah you will find. Enjoy!
