5 Stars 93 points Sam Kim

"Richly fruited and complex, the bouquet shows yellow peach, rockmelon, cedary wood, spice and vanilla characters. The palate is succulent and wonderfully weighted with excellent intensity and creamy mouthfeel, leading to a persistent silky finish. The wine offers terrific fruit power together with savoury nuances, making it engaging and satisfying. At its best: now to 2021"

Fantastic Chardonnay from the reserve range of Michel Torino. Lovely aroma of apple, pineapples and tropical fruit together with honey and butter. The taste is soft and clean on the palate due to malolactic fermentation in barrels. Wonderful pear and apple notes with milk and bread presence. Acidity is well balanced. This wine will develop beautifully in the bottle.

Another great wee surprise! Lovely drinking. beautifully clear finish. It is a bit acidic to start, but I enjoyed this. I would go as far as saying a must have if you like chardonnay, especially at this price. Best value for money Chardonnay I have drunk in some time.
