Silver - Hawke's Bay Wine Awards

Fruit for this wine was grown on free draining river terraces formed by the Ngaruroro River. These inland sites with warm days and cool nighttime temperatures are ideal for the production of high quality Pinot Gris. These vines now approaching 20 years of age are intensively managed.

Winemakers Comment
"This is a rich style of Pinot Gris with aromas and flavours of baked pear, honey, citrus and apricot. It is mouthfilling and complex, finishing long and dry. A small portion of barrel fermentation has added richness and complexity to this powerful, textural and highly drinkable wine"

Very versatile. Can be enjoyed on its own or with soft cheeses, pork, chicken and seafood dishes
