16.5 Points and 3 Stars - Raymond Chan
"Full, even, dark ruby-red colour, a little lighter on the rim. This has a soft and full nose with well packed aromas of ripe dark-red berry and plum fruit entwined with cedary oak and a little eucalyptus, unfolding some liquorice notes. Medium-full bodied, the palate is sweetly rich with juicy, ripe flavours of dark-red berry fruits, plums and liquorice with some cedar and hints of eucalyptus. The tannins are soft and light, lending a supple, smooth mouthfeel with soft acidity enhancing the plushness. A little alcohol power emerges and carries the wine to a moderately lingering, light finish. This is a sweet and juicy, smooth and ripe, accessible and supple Shiraz with berry, plum, cedar and eucalypt flavours. Perfect with barbecued and roasted red meats over the next 3 years. The Food Truck Shiraz blend was finalised in conjunction with the members of the Slow Food movement of the Barossa Valley - tasted with aged steaks cooked in wood-fired smokers.
