"
Powerful yet well-defined with ripe citrus and lightly tropical tones upon layers of creamy oak. Flavourful yet not brash this expertly crafted wine is without pretence and eminently  drinkable. Cellar 4 years from vintage"

Bargain Chardonnay from the team at Te pa' wines, Smoky, nutty and fruity.

This easy drinking Chardonnay offers fresh notes of apricot, peach, mandarin, and soft floral aromatics on the nose. Vanilla and almond notes support the more prominent stone fruit characters. On the palate, there are smooth, rounded, creamy notes, backed up with a bright, citrus finish.

A mix of hand and machine picked fruit was harvested and fermented with a combination of indigenous and cultured yeasts. Fermentation occurred in French oak barrels and stainless-steel tanks. The young wines were left on lees for 8 months prior to blending, which helped the wines develop texture and weight. Roughly 80% of the wine underwent natural malo-lactic fermentation.
