Koparepare (Marlborough) 2018 Chardonnay
Gold - 2020 China Wine & Spirits Awards
91 Points - Sam Kim, Wine Orbit
"It's attractively fruited and inviting on the nose showing golden peach, mango, vanilla and roasted nut characters, followed by a succulent palate delivering excellent weight and rounded mouthfeel. The wine offers tasty fruit flavours together with elegant complexity, finishing long and creamy. At its best: now to 2022."
89/100 Points, Cameron Douglas Camdouglasms.com
"Classic full-bodied bouquet with aromas of peaches and cream, vanilla and butterscotch. On the palate - weighty, fruity, varietal, crisp and dry. Flavours reflect the nose with yellow stone fruits, red apple, vanilla, wood spices, a touch of smoke and blond tobacco. Medium acidity, lite creamy texture and balanced, even finish. Drink now and through 2022."

"Creamy, smooth and buttery with notes of spice and a rich finish. Its richness will appeal to Chardonnay lovers."

This is a classy and well made chardonnay. Ripe citrus and pineapple, with some peach aromas, overlaid with butter notes from the malolactic fermentation and some savoury char from the French oak barrels.
Medium bodied wine with a soft, plush texture and some creaminess from the extended maturation on yeast lees. Stone fruit and citrus dominate, and the oak lends an attractive dry finish.
We recommend drinking now and over the next 3-5 years.
