93 Points/5 Stars Sam Kim

"The wine is gorgeously fruited and fragrant on the nose showing dark plum, mulberry, toasted spice, hazelnut and game characters. It;s wonderfully weighted and mouthfilling on the palate with excellent fruit intensity backed by savoury nuances, finishing delightfully long and delectable. At its best: now to 2022."

A fantastic wine from a 5 star vintage.

Chusclan reds are lovely, generous wines with remarkable intensity. The 2017 vintage in France produced outstanding wines. Beautiful ruby color. The nose seduces with aromas of red fruit (strawberry, raspberry) and spices. The palate has roundness and finesse with an appreciable concentration. Very good structure. A blend of 50% Grenache Noir, 35% Carignan, 10% Cinsault, 5% Syrah.

The vineyard is located in the South East of France on the right bank of the Rhone. Fragmented selections conducted on vines conducted partly on sand plains, and partly on clay-limestone hillsides and more or less stony soil.
