A darn good price for a vintage methode.

A fairly hefty style, being more Pinot Noir than Chardonnay in the blend. Nutty, waxy and biscuity. Stonefruit and citrus with a fine mineral core.

The 2014 Laverique Méthode Traditionelle is a blend of 55% Pinot Noir and 45% Chardonnay from the Waipara Valley. The fruit was harvested from the Glasnevin vineyard in late March 2014 and was lightly pressed before being fermented in stainless steel tanks. After a year in tank the wine was bottled in January 2015 and underwent traditional secondary fermentation in the bottle. After 34 months on bottle lees the wine was disgorged in November 2017.
