91/100 Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, January 2020 (2018 Vintage)
"Beautifully fruited and inviting, the wine shows apricot, apple, fig and vanilla characters on the nose with a hint of gun smoke. It's succulent and rounded on the palate with excellent weight and intensity, backed by creamy mouthfeel and bright acidity, finishing long and complex. At its best: now to 2022."

Cameron Douglas MS, November 2019 (2018 Vintage)
Bold and expressive aromas of yellow peach and red apple, plenty of toasty wood, burnt butter, vanilla, wood shavings and nutty oak suggestions. Equally expressive and intense on the palate with flavours that directly reflect the nose. Medium acidity, plenty of toasty brown spices of wood. Quite weighty, balanced and well made. Drink now and through 2021."

This Chardonnay make use of old world techniques, including wild fermentation and lees stirring to create wines of richness and intrigue, none more so than this latest 2018 Main Divide Chardonnay.
Fat, ripe and creamy, with nutty, buttery textures and a long, flinty finish with hints of fennel and ginger, this Chardonnay is highly complex but also highly enjoyable. Best between now and 2023.
