Jaffelin, "the smallest of the great Burgundy wine houses" The cellars have been housed in the cellars of the Collegiate church in the heart of the Beaune region since 1816. Marinette Garnier, our oenologist-winemaker, creates our "hand-made" wines in this magical location in the historical centre of Beaune. Jaffelin continues to present the very best of the finest Burgundy terroirs within a comprehensive collection of wines, which are recognised in prestigious wine competitions and appreciated by connoisseurs around the world.

A village Burgundy offering from the Beaune region. 2017 was a hot vintage in Burgundy which laid the foundations for a very early harvest; from the last days in August in the Maconnais and in some areas of the Cote de Beaune and Cote Chalonnaise.  Five consecutive months before the harvest of very favourable weather conditions have generally been the sign in the past of these great vintages for ageing.

Red and black fruit aromas, along with notes of roses. On the palate, the wine possesses delicate tannins which bring out the fruit. This wine will pair perfectly with roast poultry, poultry in a sauce, and risottos.
