Gold Concours des Grands Vins de France 2018
90 Points - Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate 2018

The lovely folks at Mas Olivier saved us the very last of this award winning wine!  Lucky us and lucky you!

A beautiful and elegant blend of hand picked Syrah, Grenache and Mourvedre. The vinification is mostly obtained by carbonic maceration of the Syrah and long fermentation of the Grenache and Mourvèdre in new fine grained barrels made of French oak during 12 months.

Dark colour with a deep purple hue. Intense nose with ripe black berry notes, pepper, incense, cardamon and chocolate are all present. The palate is generous and long. Black, cherries, ground black pepper and leather. Stretchy and fine tannins make for a sophisticated structure.

This wine is drinking lovely now but can be cellared up to 7 years from vintage.
