90 points 4.5 Stars - Sam kim Wine Orbit
"Upfront and fruit forward, this tasty malbec shows blackcurrant, olive, toasted nut and mixed spice aromas on the nose. The palate displays supple mouthfeel and ripe fruit flavours, well supported by silky texture and fine tannins. At its best: now to 2024" (2019 vintage)

Our biggest selling Malbec!

The Michel Torino Coleccion wines are produced in a young "fruit forward" style, with pure varietal character and vineyard typicity. Minimal oak influence making them super approachable and quaffable

Each of the Coleccion range are sourced from entirely estate owned vineyards throughout the Cafayate Valley. Vineyards sit at elevations well above 3,000 feet with many sitting above 5,000 feet. The power of the sun at these elevations combined with very little moisture or pests leads to wines of unique purity and concentration.

Each wine in the Coleccion range presents the true character of the varietal. The colour is crimson red, intense with sharpening black borders. Distinct plum aromas typical of this grape enhanced by cherry notes, rosemary hints and subtle chocolate traces due to its oak spell. Mouth-Filling plumy fruit . Sweet and firm, fine tannins. Balance with notes of cassis, hints of vanilla and a long round finish.
