Millton winery was established in 1984. They were the first wine producer in New Zealand to gain Bio-Gro certification for organic wine production (1989) and the first in the Southern Hemisphere to gain the biodynamic certification Demeter (2009). Their four dry farmed vineyards are all farmed biodynamically and this level of care and attention shows in the quality of the resulting wines.

Commercial description

"A haunting wine with bristling delicacy, buoyed by a noted mineral edge. Poached pear and warm croissant give a spiced and sappy appeal. The salinity sings the proximity of the vineyard to its maritime environment. We consider the aromatic delight of Viognier will enhance and partner foods high in Umami flavours. Drink now through to 2026 with happiness.
