93 Points & 5 Stars - Sam kim Wine Orbit
"Restrained and savoury, the complex bouquet shows Gala apple, apricot, lemon peel and oatmeal characters with a hint of flinty note. It's concentrated and wonderfully weighted on the palate, offering rich texture backed by bright acidity, finishing persistent and engaging. A lovely alternative expression of the variety. At its best: now to 2022’

4 Stars - Michael Cooper
"From a Wairau Valley site, west of Blenheim, the 2019 vintage was hand-harvested and mostly handled in tanks and 20% in seasoned French oak barriques. Pale lemon/green, with a restrained bouquet, it is fresh, youthful and lively, with strong, tropical fruit flavours to the fore, some herbaceous notes, a distinct touch of complexity and a crisp, dry, lengthy finish."

Supplier clearance deal

Our best Savvy deal of the year so far!

A single vineyard located in the Southern Valley, sub region of the Wairau Plains in Marlborough. A family estate with over 20 years experience making Sauvignon Blanc. Sold mainly direct where you would pay around $28 NZD a bottle!!

This is a hand picked, Single vineyard and small production wine. In fact so small the bottles are individually numbered!

Whole bunch pressed. A small ammount put into old French barriques to go through fermentation in order to gain texture and more white fruited characters. The rest of the Sauvignon Blanc was tank fermented to retain brightness where once finished left on light lees to await final blending in October.

Aromas of wet stone, Grapefruit and fresh herbs. A classy and textural pallet dispays a green apple, white peaches and a herbaceous undertone. Beautiful lengthy finsh.  A perfect match for seafood.
