Silver Medal, 93 Points - International Wine & Spirit Competition 2020 (Under Original label)

17/20 pts - Candice Chow , Raymond Chan Wine Reviews
Nelson Bright, light yellow-gold, even colour throughout. The bouquet is softly full, vibrant, ripe aromas of sweet pear, quince, melded with white florals, honey and spices nuance underlay. Medium-bodied, dryish to taste, a crisp and fresh palate of Nashi pear, quince and lemon, runs along a mouthwatering mineral line with a light phenolic grip, unfolding honey, five-spice to a refreshingly clean finish. There is a purity of fruit enriched by mineral crunch, leaves a crisp and refreshing finish. Fresh acidity injects energy and balance with a little sugar sweetness in the wine. This is a crisp Pinot Gris with flavours of pear and quince fruit purity, along with honey, florals on a mineral flow. Match with popcorn chicken and prawn & pork wontons over the next 2-3 years. Fermented in stainless steel to 12.5% alc, 9.5 g/l RS. Aged on lees for several months. (Under Original label)

A great new addition to our own "Naked Vine" range of Nelson wines

Subtle spices and orchard fruits on the nose. Ginger, star anise, pear and peaches. A touch off dry and soft mouth feel.

Super quaffable and great with asian style cuisine.
