"There's an earthy start and a good deal of ripe cassis and plum, along with white pepper and floral tones and a stony mineral nuance. The palate shows more freshness. Tannins are fine grained and talc-like in texture, well structured and balancing the plump fruit. A woody spice linger on the finish"

This wine is bold and assertive. A tribute to the Mclaren Vale style with elegant berry fruit and plenty of persistent oak to carry the wine. Ready to drink now, or cellar for several years. Fruit sourced from the highly acclaimed McLaren Vale region, approximately 22 mi south of Adelaide in South Australia. Notable for being one of Australia’s top maritime regions, McLaren Vale’s thin soils, limited water and warm summers harness Shiraz’s natural vigor and produce intensely flavored fruit.

An intensely aromatic wine with a fragrance of violets, spice, black pepper, and anise aromas together with buttery vanillin oak. Rich & concentrated palate with intense fruit character and oak flavors. Fleshy, supple middle-palate with fine grained tannins and a persistent length.
