"Deep, dark crimson with a deep purple hue, slightly lighter on the rim. The nose is gently full and attractive, with aromas of black fruit entwined with vanilla, toasty oak and spice. Full-bodied, aromas of black cherry and plum enriched by toasty oak, clove, nutmeg and vanilla. The fruit has balanced ripeness, broadness and lush presence; smooth, fine-grained tannins enriched and provide a chewy mouthfeel. This red blend is elegantly presented with lush, black fruit with velvety tannin and spice carried to a long, dry finish. Match with lamb tagine and grilled meat over the next 5 years. A blend of Jaen, Touriga Nacional, Alfroncheiro and Tinta Roritz, fermented to 13% alc. Dec 2022"

“Tremendous Dão, deep red fruit and the typical Dão chewy dry tannins but with excellent rich fruit and a lovely whiff of dried herbs..” Oz Clarke, Three Wine Men (2018 Vintage)

Vineyards are increasingly batch-planted, being of Touriga Naçional, Tinto Cão and Encruzado. The red wines are characterised by their depth of colour, purity of fruit, and above all, their exquisite balance and harmony. The whites displaying freshness and depth of minerality and intesity of fruit.

Wild berries and pine needles on the nose. Intensley fruited on the palate. Supple taninn structure and very drinkable.

Try with Lamb Kofa Kebabs, Couscous and falafel. Superb!
