"Exotic, rich, creamy and intense bouquet with stewed apple and pear, white fleshed tropical fruits and ginger-like spice moments, white and yellow flowers and a stony soil mineral layer. On the palate - creamy, luscious, spice and fruity. Flavours of apple, pear and exotic fruits, Asian pears and white pepper. Warming alcohol, medium acidity and long fleshy finish. Well made. Drink now and through 2021."  Cameron Douglas

This variety which was planted at Stonecroft soon after the first vineyard was established in 1982.

A medium dry wine which is lighter in style and food friendly.  Very fragrant bouquet with floral notes, lychee and rock melon.  On the palate the wine has a lovely texture and mouthfeel, with luscious tropical fruit flavours.

This is a wine that will benefit from bottle age.  Suitable for vegans.
