Tahuna is the New Zealand, Māori word for riverbank. The name is uniquely New Zealand and is also appropriate as our grapes are grown on alluvial plains alongside the major rivers of the Hawke's Bay and Marlborough regions.

This label is sold to Europe and Asia where it sells for double this price.

We grabbed some first.

Great value Hawkes Bay Merlot with intense characters of plum, blackcurrant and dark berry. The palate is juicy with velvety tannins giving the wine a long, soft finish. It is made in an early drinking style.
