"Bright purple-red and vibrant. Layers of ripe black fruit - think blackberry and plum, bitter chocolate, and a good dose of brown spices from the French oak maturation. There's depth to the fruit here. A sweet core then the oak spices kick in leaving a dry savoury finish. As the label states, oak is a feature."

There are lifted dark cherry and black plum aromas along with subtle dusty spice, dried rose petals and rich polished leather overtones.
This is a rich wine with berry-laden, dark chocolate characters underpinned by a hint of sweet leather. The oak maturation brings depth and length to the palate with a lovely tannin line. The wine is very well balanced with well integrated oak and the finish is persistent and imminently enjoyable
