"Fruity and nicely lifted, the bouquet shows dark cherry, dried herb, floral and clove notes, leading to a gently weighted palate offering bright fruit flavours with smooth texture, offering friendly drinking. At its best: now to 2022."

Winesale has been working hard to bring to New Zealand a very well made, easy drinking and unbeatable value range of Chilean wines. We truly believe the The Terra Vega range, from Luis Felipe Edwards, hits the mark bringing with it a string of medals and awards.  Among them:

"New World Producer of the Year" by Sommelier Wine Awards (2016)
"Chilean Producer of the Year" by both the International Wine and Spirits Competition (IWSC) (2012, 2017)

Luis Felipe Edwards vineyards, total over 2.000 hectares of prime vineyard land in the diverse valleys of Chile, benefiting from ideal microclimates for growing wine grapes in the distinct regions. LFE remains a family owned and managed winery, with two generations actively involved in keeping the brand synonymous with quality and traditional family values

Terra Vega wines are approachable, fruit forward, easy in style, and can be enjoyed on their own or with a variety of foods. The grapes come from Chile's winegrowing heartland- the Central Valley, and are expertly managed to enhance the fruit characteristics of each individual grape variety.

Chilean Merlot had long been recognised as great value, easy drinking, benchmark drinking. Terra Vega Merlot offers all of this and more.

Intense red color with violet tints. In the nose it presents aromas of fresh red fruits with soft notes of dried fruit. On the palate it has a nice medium body, with fresh acidity, soft tannins and notes of dark fruit with a long persistence. Big on fruit and full of flavour, yet dances lightly on the pallet.
