"Still unfolding, the 2019 vintage was partly barrel-fermented. Pale lemon/green, it is a medium-bodied, vibrantly fruity wine, with ripely herbaceous flavours, showing very good vigour and depth, and a dry (3.5 grams/litre residual sugar), crisp finish. Best drinking mid-2020+." Michael Cooper
Together Jess & Kilian are focusing on a very high quality production of wines that starts in the vineyard. Along with the passion for small lot winemaking, use of oak and alternate winemaking techniques, they are looking to produce individual wines that express them as winemakers and the unique location of the vineyard in the Alexandra Basin of Central Otago.
